Consent Culture Training
Our consent culture workshops provide student leaders with training on anti-sexual violence in order to help create a culture of consent on campus.
Volunteer
Justice for Women is comprised of volunteer students at the University fo Manitoba who are passionate about creating an equitable world free of sexual violence.
Advocacy
Justice for Women are proud advocators survivors both at the University of Manitoba and beyond. Some of our advocacy initiatives include proposing changes to UMSU by-laws to increase the amount of individuals who have consent training and consulting on the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence.
Resource Guide & Colouring book
"Your Voice Matters" our annual Colouring Book and Resource Guide is collaboration with the Feminist Legal Forum and UMSU. It is comprised of artwork submitted by students, information on survivors legal rights and contains a comprehensive list of up to date resources across Manitoba.
Education
Our goal is to help educate individuals on anti-sexual violence using our workshops and various events such as trivia night. We always looking to further educate ourselves by attending conferences, looking into new research and consulting others.
Philanthropy
Giving back to the community is very important to our group. Each year we choose one to two organizations to donate to or hold a fundraiser for.
